Registered Childrens Nurse

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (Children or Adults) to work in a flexible role, supporting a male paediatric client in his own home.

What you’ll be working

10 hours Monday Evening – Waking Night (21 : 00 – 07 : 00). Some additional cover may be required on Tuesday & Wednesday.

What you’ll be doing

Client / patient care of a young male patient within his own home who is suffering from Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC) and short gut syndrome. Duties will include PN feeding maintenance, Hickman line and gastrostomy management. The client has developmental delay undiagnosed disorder affecting communication / social interaction.

Full training will be given by the hospital for TPN and CVC line.

What you’ll have

• A current NMC Pin registration (Registered Children's Nurse or Adult Nurse)
• A legal right to work in the UK
• Own vehicle with work insurance
• Experience / up-to-date knowledge of : Gastrostomy, TPN line (Hickman line / CVAD), Emergency Care of CVAD essential
• Experience of working within complex care
