HR Generalist (Advisor / Business Partner)

Contract – 4 / 5 months

Glasgow (North East), predominately on-site

Circa £50,000

We’re currently looking for an experienced HR Generalist / HR Advisor / HR Business Partner to join a leading manufacturing organisation on a short-term contract. This role is ideal for someone who is immediately available and confident handling complex employee relations (ER) casework and engaging effectively with trade unions.

What you’ll be doing :

• Acting as the first point of contact for managers on ER matters, including performance, absence, grievance, and disciplinary cases.
• Building trusted relationships with employees, managers, and union representatives.
• Providing clear, pragmatic advice aligned with employment law and company policy.
• Supporting the HR Director and site leadership team to maintain a positive, compliant working environment.
