Salary = £30,000 OTE - £36.400pa

License : HGV Class 2

Working Hours : 45

Monday-Friday : 08 : 00-17 : 30

Location : Wellington

Roles and responsibilities of a Driver / Yard hand :

• To deliver and collect cars and commercial vehicles to and from Customer sites, in a safe manner.
• To carry out mandatory vehicle checks before driving any vehicle to comply with Company policy and procedure and to ensure the vehicles driven are legal and fit prior to driving.
• To carry out condition checks of the vehicles both before collection and following delivery, identifying any damage and where required obtaining photographic evidence of condition.
• To ensure record of work undertaken is accurately recorded on computer systems.
• To complete Defect rectification notes upon finding a fault with a vehicle that may have caused or potentially cause a problem.
• To have a flexible working approach to the  deliver and collection of vehicles to and from the depot in a timely manner.
• Taking vehicles for MOT test where requested.
• Collecting parts as requested by the management team.
