Indian Subcontinent Travel Consultant

Indian Subcontinent Specialist Travel Consultant required for an Award-Winning Experiential Tour Operator. You will craft tours to the Indian Subcontinent, providing expert destination advise to customers, and book the company's industry-leading product to them. Salary 32K plus excellent commission pay outs of 24/25K over the basic salary.

You will be considered for this role if you already work as a Travel Specialist in the Indian Subcontinent OR you work in general travel sales, but have personal on-the-ground experience out in India.

Indian Subcontinent Specialist Travel Consultant Responsibilities:

• Sell group tours to both new customers and many loyal return customers
• Construct tailor-made adventures in the Indian Subcontinent, completely bespoke to the customer
• Work towards and strive to exceed targets
• Provide exceptional customer service and expertise
• Liaise with ground handlers in the Indian Subcontinent to discuss logistics and ensure all components of trips are arranged
• Ensure all documentation is in order

Indian Subcontinent Specialist Travel Consultant Skills and Experience required:

• In depth, first-hand knowledge and experience of Indian Subcontinent travel
• Proven Experience working towards sales targets in travel
• Strong customer service experience
• Exceptional written and oral skills
• Meticulous eye for detail

Indian Subcontinent Specialist Travel Consultant Additional information:

• Educational Travel to India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan
• Hybrid role 3, 4 or 5 days in the London Office
• 8 Saturdays per year from home (additional pay for these extra days)
