Wayman Education is seeking a proactive and technically proficient IT Technician for an immediate start at a high-achieving school in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. This is an excellent opportunity for a support professional to join a fast-paced environment where technology is at the heart of the curriculum.
You will provide vital first and second-line support to a diverse community of staff and students. Whether you are troubleshooting hardware in a classroom or managing cloud permissions from the server room, your work will ensure that teaching and learning remain uninterrupted.
Key Responsibilities:
Desktop & Helpdesk Support: Resolve technical issues related to Windows and MacOS devices, interactive displays, and classroom peripherals.
Network Administration: Assist with the maintenance of the school’s wired and wireless infrastructure, ensuring high-speed connectivity across the campus.
Cloud Management: Administer user accounts and security groups within Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
AV & Events: Support the setup and operation of audio-visual equipment for assemblies, performances, and remote learning events.
Cyber Security: Maintain up-to-date patches, firewalls, and anti-virus software to protect the school's data integrity.
