Our Client is a group of companies providing a range of industrial services to the energy and marine sectors.
Due to increased workload and expansion of the Finance Department, a Company Accountant is required to work closely with the CFO and more junior members of the team to ensure production of high quality, accurate information.
Responsibilities include:
•Assisting with the control and operation of financial systems
•Producing monthly figures and year ending accounts ensuring auditor satisfaction
•Working with HR to ensure fair pay across all disciplines within the company
•Consistently checking systems to ensure no financial fraud
•Ensuring financial dealings are in line with professional accounting practices
Talent will:
•Be part qualified or qualified by experience
•Potentially have a mix of private practice and industry experience
•Demonstrate excellent Excel skills and be competent with accounting software
•Have the ability to produce and present accurate information specifically relating to performance and profitability
