TeacherActive TeacherActive is delighted to be recruiting for a vibrant and inclusive 2-form entry primary school based in Angel. The school has a well-established and large SEN provision and is seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about working with children and keen to gain or further develop their experience within a mainstream setting that strongly supports pupils with additional needs.

The Role :

Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (depending on experience and school need).

Provide 1 : 1 and small group support, including within the SEN provision.

Assist the class teacher with planning, preparation, and classroom management.

Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development.

The Ideal Candidate Will :

Have experience working with children (school-based experience desirable).

Have SEN experience (preferred but not essential).

Be patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic.

Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.

Be committed to supporting inclusive education.
