Overview
Stakeholder Engagement Lead role at Alternative Networks (now part of Daisy Group). This is a permanent position reporting to the Stakeholder Engagement & Strategy Manager within the Customer Services and VICE directorate, based in London. Salary £50,000 with a 7.5% bonus and blended working after probation (6 months) : 3 days in the office and 2 remote. Close date : 19 / 09 / 2025.
Responsibilities
- Engagement and research programme development : Manage engagement planning, develop inclusive delivery plans, advise on methods; ensure the plan is up‑to‑date and coordinate delivery progress.
- Insights review : Lead regular insight reviews of topics across the programme, capture new insights, and track impact.
- Panel management : Manage online community panels with internal teams and external providers.
- Strategic analysis : Identify new engagement issues by reviewing external research and insights.
- Best practice : Promote best practices in engagement and research across the business, including guidance, training and materials.
- Continuous improvement : Improve team processes to stay at the forefront of best practice.
External engagement reporting
Report programme management : Deliver the annual Ongoing Engagement Report and Annual Vulnerability Report, explaining how engagement and research have influenced actions and benefited customers and the network.Strategy development : Develop key messages for annual reports, incorporating sector best practices.Report development : Manage storyboarding, drafting, design, review and approval of reports within time and budget and regulatory requirements; manage external support as needed.Content coordination : Coordinate with teams to identify initiatives and impacts with supporting evidence.Report publication : Coordinate with Communications and Media for publication; align content across multiple reports.Engagement website : Oversee the engagement and research webpages, ensuring accuracy and regular updates.Internal engagement reporting
Programme reporting : Improve internal reporting on scope, progress and impact; source timely updates from teams.Analysis : Assess reporting data and surface key updates and issues for escalation.Person specification
You should have knowledge and enthusiasm for stakeholder engagement, programme management and facilitation, with a willingness to learn about new topics and a drive to make positive change. A detailed knowledge of the electricity industry is not required, but the ability to grasp complex subjects quickly is important.
Qualifications
Experience in engagement, communications, PR or marketing with strong stakeholder engagement practices.Programme and project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2) or equivalent experience; ability to deliver to time, cost and quality.Experience developing and delivering engagement strategies and delivery plans across diverse topics and stakeholders.Experience working with senior managers to deliver shared objectives; experience aligning engagement activities to strategic goals.Analytical skills to identify trends and insights from engagement feedback.Experience evaluating engagement activities’ progress and impact.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues.Experience developing and delivering external-facing reports.Commitment to continuous improvement.Health & Safety
