Central London · Hybrid Intersect is recruiting on behalf of a tier one main contractor who is delivering one of the largest rail programmes in the UK. As part of growth on the programme, they are seeking to appoint a Senior QS to work out of their office in Central London. About the role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll manage the commercial delivery of a programme of Network Rail station and infrastructure projects, including station upgrades, Access for All schemes and M&E packages. It's a hybrid role based in Central London, with visits to project sites.

What you'll do

•Manage costs across several live rail projects, from tender to final account.

•Administer NEC contracts, including compensation events and payment applications.

•Procure and manage subcontract packages.

•Produce cost reports and forecasts for project and senior leaders.

•Coach junior quantity surveyors.

What you'll bring

Essential

•Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in construction, civil engineering or rail.

•Hands-on knowledge of NEC contracts.

•Subcontract procurement and commercial management experience.

•Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage several projects at once.

Nice to have

•Experience on Network Rail station, building or M&E projects.

•RICS or ICES membership, or working towards it.
