Your Role Beach Road is a residential home for people with learning disabilities and behaviours that challenges, situated in the West Sussex coastal town of Littlehampton. Located right next to the coast, days out to the beach are a must. The small, highly specialised home provides very high levels of care whilst enabling the people we support to live as part of an integrate within the local community. No two days are the same, as a Support Worker, you'll: Support people with everyday life, including personal care where required, while promoting choice, dignity and independence. Help people enjoy activities, hobbies and opportunities within their local community. Build positive relationships and communicate in ways that meet each person's individual needs. Encourage people to achieve their goals, develop new skills and enjoy meaningful experiences. Help keep people safe by following support plans, risk assessments and agreed ways of working. Work as part of a supportive team to provide high-quality, person-centred support. Shifts: Rotational including early, late and weekend, 37.5 hours per week.
