The Opportunity

I'm working with an established and forward-thinking law firm that is continuing to invest in its presence across the North West. They are looking to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor to join their team in Liverpool, offering an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of their work, develop client relationships and play a key role in growing the firm's presence in the region.

This is a particularly interesting opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys autonomy and wants to make a real impact. You will be the sole Commercial Property Solicitor, giving you the scope to develop your own practice, while benefiting from the support, expertise and resources of an established Commercial Property team across other offices.

The firm offers a collaborative and supportive environment, combining the independence to build your own profile with access to experienced colleagues who can provide guidance and assistance when needed.

Hybrid working is available, with some flexibility to work from home, subject to departmental requirements.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload of commercial property matters independently, working closely with colleagues across the wider department to deliver a high-quality service to clients.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied caseload of commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Advising on a broad range of commercial property matters.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and professional contacts.
• Developing new business opportunities
• Networking locally and contributing to the continued development of the commercial property practice.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple offices, sharing knowledge and expertise.
• Delivering commercially focused advice and maintaining excellent standards of client care.

About You

The firm is ideally looking for a Commercial Property Solicitor with 4+ years' PQE, although candidates with less post-qualification experience will also be considered where they can demonstrate strong, relevant commercial property experience.

You will ideally have:

• Experience handling a broad range of commercial property matters.
• The ability and confidence to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong technical knowledge and a practical, commercial approach to client work.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• An interest in business development and growing a local client base.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work autonomously.
• An interest in developing your professional network and building the firm's profile.
