Patience, consistency, appropriate boundaries and a willingness to learn are all valuable.
A conversation about what suits you
Before moving into recruitment, I worked directly within SEND education myself.
I know that supporting young people can involve academic learning alongside communication, confidence, emotional regulation and independence. I also know that different settings suit different people.
We’ll discuss your experience, availability, travel options and the environments you enjoy. From there, I can consider you for suitable opportunities as school needs arise.
You’ll also have access to CPD and professional development to support your understanding and practice.
Pay & practical information
Teaching Assistant and LSA opportunities are paid from £92.60 per day.
You’ll need an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service. If you don’t currently hold one, you’ll need to apply through us and join the Update Service. I’ll support you through the process, with the associated cost covered by the applicant.
