Estimator / Surveyor

Based in a commercial office and reporting directly to the Business Manager you will be required to perform a variety of surveying functions within a small team. The Role & Responsibilities:Duties: - Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine the scope of work and materials required for brickwork projects. - Collaborate with main contractors to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation. - Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for projects, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. - Analyse project specifications and requirements to identify potential risks and opportunities. - Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather additional information for accurate cost estimation. - Coordinate with client and other team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of cost estimates. - Maintain a database of historical cost data to support future estimating efforts. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, construction methods, and material costs to ensure accurate cost estimation.
