What You'll Be Doing

• Vehicle Servicing: Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance to manufacturer specifications.
• Mechanical Repairs: Working on brakes, suspension, clutches, engines, exhausts and other vehicle components.
• Diagnostics & Fault Finding: Identifying faults and resolving mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
• Vehicle Inspections: Assessing vehicle condition and identifying additional repairs where necessary.
• Quality Control: Ensuring all repairs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Workshop Standards: Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Team Collaboration: Working alongside colleagues to ensure vehicles are completed efficiently and customers receive excellent service.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Car Mechanic.
• Relevant automotive qualifications, ideally NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and practical repair experience.
• Competent in vehicle diagnostics and fault finding.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence.

Based in Chester, this opportunity could suit technicians travelling from across Cheshire and North Wales.
