Manufacturing Engineer

Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading global manufacturing business with their search for a talented Manufacturing Engineer to play a key role in launching a brand-new production site. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape manufacturing processes, drive operational excellence, and make a real impact from day one! This role will initially be based at the company's Solihull facility for approximately 6-12 months, before transitioning to the new production site in Stoke-on-Trent, where the successful candidate will be permanently based. Key Duties: To ensure the efficient operation of the production line and to solve any problems that arise in this regard. Preparation, up-to-date and training of work instructions for production processes. Planning, testing and assisting in the implementation of preventive maintenance and emergency measures on production lines in order to create production processes that are stable in terms of safety, quality, delivery and cost. Responsible for non-critical changes in production processes, collaborating with partner departments. Responsible for defining the spare parts list. Support for quality assurance investigations or further corrective actions, support for partner departments resulting from product and process inspections, internal quality inspections or customer feedback and complaints.
