Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Centre Project | Blyth, Northumberland

£80,000 - £95,000

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading data centre delivery team on a major new data centre project in Blyth, Northumberland. This is a key role overseeing electrical installations on a mission-critical facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage electrical installation works including HV/LV distribution, UPS and generators
• Oversee electrical subcontractors for quality, safety and programme
• Review drawings, technical submittals and method statements
• Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, CSA and commissioning teams
• Support energisation, commissioning and handover of electrical systems
• Mentor and support junior electrical engineers
• Report progress and resolve technical issues on site

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' M&E contracting experience
• Data centre experience essential
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of HV/LV, switchgear, UPS and standby generation
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Valid CSCS card or equivalent site safety training
