Welder / Fabricator Mig Welder TXM Recruit are looking for Various Welders (Mig) or Fabricators on a Permanent basis to work for an engineering company in Milton Keynes. The Salary for this role is dependent on Qualifications & Experience and comes with enhancements after 40 hrs. The role is Monday to Friday days, 40 hours per week with available overtime. Salary Brackets are: * £32 – 34,000 for Welders/Fabricators with no qualifications * Up to £38,000 for Welders/Fabricators with a minimum level 2 Welding Qualification or equivalent Position Summary: * To carry out MIG Welding work or Fabrication on Rail and Rolling Stock Assets * Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. * Performing welding operations using methods such as MIG (Essential) TIG, Stick, and Arc welding (desirable) * Cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components to precise dimensions * Inspecting welded joints and structures for quality and adherence to specifications. * Identifying and repairing any defects or inconsistencies in welds. * Conducting tests to ensure the strength and integrity of finished products.
