Mechanical Contracts Manager – New Build & Domestic About the company An established, growing building services and construction group in the West Midlands is looking for an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager. You will lead mechanical delivery on its new build residential and domestic contracts. The company has a strong reputation with repeat clients, a “can do” culture and a friendly, collaborative team. It is fully accredited, with a good supply chain and a real commitment to quality. The role You will take full responsibility for mechanical contracts from start to finish, from pre-start planning through to handover. The work covers new build housing developments and domestic projects, with a strong focus on quality, programme and budget. Key responsibilities * Manage and deliver mechanical (heating, plumbing, gas and ventilation) installations on new build and domestic contracts * Plan and programme works, coordinating with site managers, main contractors, developers and other trades * Manage contract budgets, forecasting, variations and valuations to protect margin * Oversee and support site-based mechanical teams, engineers and subcontractors * Carry out regular site inspections to ensure quality, compliance with specification and building regulations, and a right-first-time standard * Manage procurement and supply chain, including materials ordering and subcontractor appointments...
