Role: Warehouse & Inspection Operative Location: Chesterfield, S41 Hours: Compressed Week: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 3:55 PM (37 hours) Contract: Permanent Our client is seeking a dedicated Warehouse & Inspection Operative to join their thriving manufacturing organisation based in Chesterfield. This is an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced environment, focusing on dispatch, goods in, quality inspection, and stock control. Key Responsibilities: Pick, pack, and verify orders to ensure accuracy in parts, quantities, and labels. Utilise internal systems and courier software to print and complete despatch paperwork. Book courier collections and accurately enter shipping details to facilitate customs clearance. Assist with internal orders and complete basic warehouse paperwork as required. Maintain up-to-date stock records, including booking in/out and relocating stock efficiently. Organise stock in designated locations to keep the warehouse tidy and efficient. Participate in cycle counts, stocktakes, and report any discrepancies. Raise purchase requisitions/orders as needed and communicate stock issues to the relevant parties.
