Industrial Technician Consultant

We are delighted to be partnering with a well-established industrial business to recruit a technically minded Industrial Technical Consultant to join their Service team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a mechanical or maintenance engineering background who enjoys being hands-on, working directly with customers, and leading technical projects from start to finish. * Acting as the technical point of contact for customers and Technical Sales Consultants on complex engineering and maintenance matters * Carrying out site surveys and assessing existing maintenance practices and procedures * Leading the implementation and start-up of technical maintenance programmes at customer sites * Conducting or overseeing scheduled equipment inspections and maintenance activities * Working closely with Key Account Managers, service delivery partners, sales support, and the Technical Manager * Supporting customers in improving equipment reliability, efficiency, and performance * Ensuring all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards * A vocational technical qualification, ideally in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline * Knowledge of rotating equipment and experience in an industrial maintenance or technical service environment * Experience delivering small to medium-sized technical projects * Confident using Microsoft Office and digital business systems * A strong commitment to health and safety * Customer-focused, with excellent communication skills * Self-motivated, proactive, and resilient, with a structured approach to follow-up * A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites across the UK, including occasional overnight stays * Salary negotiable depending on experience * Company vehicle * Permanent, full-time role, Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm - Working hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm - If this role is of interest, please contact Annabel Mills in our Northallerton office.
