HGV Class 1 Driver / LGV C+E Driver / Class 1 HGV Driver

HGV Class 1 Driver / LGV C+E Driver / Class 1 HGV Driver required for temporary driving work with established transport and logistics businesses across Southampton and the surrounding Hampshire area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for regular temporary work, competitive hourly pay and opportunities with established transport operators. * Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle in line with road traffic regulations and company procedures. * Complete deliveries and collections in a safe and timely manner. * Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues. * Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely. * Complete delivery paperwork, proof of delivery documents and any relevant vehicle records. * Maintain communication with transport planners, customers and the relevant depot. * Follow drivers' hours regulations and working time requirements. * Maintain high standards of vehicle care, professionalism and customer service. * Valid HGV Class 1 / LGV C+E driving licence. * Valid Driver CPC qualification. * Valid digital tachograph card. * Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred. * Good understanding of drivers' hours regulations and road safety requirements. * Reliable, punctual and professional approach to work. * Good communication skills and the ability to follow delivery instructions. * Ability to complete vehicle checks and relevant paperwork. * Based within a commutable distance of Southampton, Hampshire.
