Level 3 Vehicle Technician Location: Canning Town, East London Salary: Up to £41,000 per annum Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Arrangement: Site-based The Opportunity We are working with an established vehicle and equipment business looking for a qualified Level 3 Vehicle Technician to join their team at their Canning Town site. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician with a strong mechanical background who is confident carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs. You will play an important role in maintaining vehicle reliability, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and helping keep equipment operating safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will be technically capable, organised and able to work independently as well as alongside a wider workshop team. Key Responsibilities * Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles. * Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment. * Identify faults and complete effective repairs to minimise vehicle downtime. * Carry out routine inspections, preventative maintenance and vehicle health checks. * Repair and replace components including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension and steering systems. * Use diagnostic tools and technical information to investigate and resolve complex issues. * Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer specifications and health and safety requirements. * Complete accurate service records, inspection reports and job documentation. * Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment. * Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure workshop targets and deadlines are achieved. The Ideal Candidate * Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or an equivalent recognised qualification. * Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician. * Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills. * Good knowledge of vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair procedures. * Experience using diagnostic equipment and workshop tools. * A proactive approach to problem-solving, with strong attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Full UK driving licence preferred.
