Senior Data Centre Solutions Architect (Pre Sales)

Liverpool Street, London (2 days per week onsite/client site)

Overview

Our client is looking for a commercially focused Senior Data Centre Solutions Architect to join their Solutions team. This is a customer-facing pre-sales position focused on designing, positioning and presenting Data Centre solutions across enterprise customers.

This role combines technical architecture, customer engagement and solution-selling, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with customers, vendors and internal sales teams to design and win complex infrastructure opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
• Design and present end-to-end Data Centre solutions.
• Work closely with sales teams to support customer opportunities.
• Provide technical leadership throughout the pre-sales lifecycle.
• Produce high-quality solution designs, proposals and presentations.
• Act as the trusted technical advisor for customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic technology vendors.
• Support bid responses, commercial discussions and customer presentations.
• Stay current with market trends and vendor technologies.
• Proven experience in a pre-sales, solutions architect or technical consulting role.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience designing and selling enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Data Centre technologies.
• Experience with Dell Data Centre platforms and solutions.
• Experience with Pure Storage solutions.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure transformation projects.
