School Cleaner – Enfield | Permanent

Location: Enfield, North London Start: ASAP Contract: Permanent Hours: 12.5 hours per week, all year round Working pattern: Afternoons, 15:10–17:40. Morning shifts, 05:30–08:00, may also be considered. Salary: Grade 1, SCP 3 (indicative) A school in Enfield is seeking a hardworking and trustworthy Cleaner to help provide a clean and well-maintained learning environment. This role would suit someone who is organised, takes pride in maintaining high standards and understands the importance of cleanliness in a school setting. Key Responsibilities Clean classrooms, offices, corridors and other allocated areas. Maintain hygienic toilets and washroom facilities. Remove rubbish and dispose of waste safely. Replenish consumables and report when supplies are running low. Use cleaning products and equipment in line with safety guidance. Report any damage, hazards or maintenance concerns to the supervisor. Leave equipment clean and safely stored after each shift. What We’re Looking For Reliability and punctuality. Good attention to detail. The ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions. A responsible approach to health and safety. A willingness to work flexibly when cover is required. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, although training can be provided.
