Plan lessons that develop reading comprehension, analytical writing and creative expression. Support pupils with GCSE preparation and revision. Assess work and provide actionable feedback. Adapt resources and teaching strategies to meet pupils' needs. Contribute to departmental meetings and curriculum planning. The Ideal Candidate Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Has experience teaching English in a secondary school. Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and clear communication. Can establish positive classroom routines. Is committed to inclusion, safeguarding and pupil progress. Salary MPS/UPS, depending on experience and the school's pay policy.
