Management Accountant

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a successful, privately-owned, multi-site organisation as they look to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to join their growing finance team. Based at their North Wales Head Office, this is a fantastic opportunity for a driven finance professional to take ownership of key accounting processes within a dynamic and expanding business. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, supporting financial decision-making and continuous improvement across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of monthly management accounts Posting journals, accruals and prepayments Balance sheet reconciliations and analysis Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting Variance analysis and performance reporting Fixed asset accounting and depreciation management Intercompany reconciliations and control processes Supporting the transition of finance activities in-house Assisting with year-end processes and audit requirements Driving process improvements and finance projects

About You

AAT qualified, part-qualified or qualified ACCA/CIMA, or qualified by experience Previous experience within a Management Accountant role Strong month-end accounting knowledge Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills Advanced Excel and financial systems experience Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong communication skills with the confidence to liaise across the business
