Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Monday to Friday | Afternoon or Night Shift | Permanent We're looking for a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join an established industrial operation in Doncaster. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on planned preventative maintenance, keeping machinery running reliably and dealing with breakdowns when they occur. The Role Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on industrial machinery and equipment

Diagnose and repair mechanical and pneumatic faults

Respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime

Undertake basic electrical maintenance and fault finding when required

Carry out inspections, repairs and general maintenance

Help improve equipment reliability and performance

What We're Looking For Strong mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial environment

Good pneumatic knowledge and practical experience are essential

Basic electrical fault-finding ability

Experience with hydraulics would be beneficial

FLT and/or HGV maintenance experience would be a real advantage

A practical, hands-on approach to fault finding and maintenance

There is dedicated electrical expertise on site, so

we're not looking for a fully multi-skilled engineer.

Mechanical ability is the priority. Shifts & Package Monday to Friday, with a choice of: Afternoons:

2pm-10.30pm | £37,960

Nights:

10pm-6.30am | £39,000

Plus a

quarterly performance bonus of £300 , subject to meeting KPIs. That's a potential additional £1,200 per year. Company pension, on-site parking and training opportunities.
