Payroll Manager Kendal | Full Time | 25 days holiday + Stats | Competitive Salary DOE An established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Kendal is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to take ownership of a well-established payroll portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys building client relationships, delivering outstanding service and managing payrolls across a diverse range of businesses. Key Responsibilities: Managing weekly and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients. Processing payroll accurately and on time. Dealing with client payroll queries. Managing pension auto-enrolment requirements. Liaising with HMRC on payroll matters. Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and statutory requirements.

The Ideal Candidate: Previous payroll experience, ideally within an accountancy practice or payroll bureau. Strong knowledge of PAYE, NI, pensions and payroll legislation. Experience using Sage Payroll or similar software. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong communication and client-facing skills.
