SiteSupervisor – Sprinklers / Mechanical Pipework
Location: Velindre Hospital, Cardiff, CF14 2TL
Rate: Up to £450 per day
Start: ASAP
Duration: Up to 6 months, with potential for further work
Hours: Up to 10 hoursa day
Pertemps is currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to work with a client on a project in Cardiff in a hospital. Candidates with a sprinkler background are preferred, although those with experience in mechanical pipework will also be considered. Working alongside the client's existing site-based supervision and project design teams, you will oversee daily site activities and ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with the project programme.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site activities and coordinate site operatives.
- Monitor installation progress and ensure work meets project deadlines.
- Coordinate with project management, design teams and subcontractors.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Carry out site inspections and maintain quality standards.
- Identify and resolve site issues to keep the project on track.
- Provide regular progress updates to the project team.
Requirements
- Previous Site Management experience within sprinkler systems or mechanical pipework.
- Valid SMSTS certification.
- Black CSCS card.
- Strong knowledge of site health and safety requirements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
