They deliver projects across the healthcare, education and commercial sectors, including specialist healthcare schemes for clients across the UK. Much of their work comes from repeat clients, giving a steady flow of opportunities to price. The role Our client is looking for an Estimator to price a varied mix of healthcare, education and commercial projects. You’ll be someone who can turn a pile of drawings and a tight deadline into an accurate, competitive tender, without breaking a sweat. The role is pitched at intermediate level, with flexibility for more senior candidates with the right experience. What you’ll be doing * Preparing accurate, competitive tenders from enquiry to submission * Measuring and taking off quantities from drawings and specifications * Building up rates and pricing preliminaries * Sending out subcontractor and supplier enquiries and analysing returns * Identifying risks and preparing clarifications, assumptions and exclusions * Supporting value engineering and budget pricing for clients * Handing over successful tenders to the commercial and delivery teams * Building strong relat...
