Role summary
Design authority for the FSC solution. Owns end-to-end solution and technical architecture, data model, integration patterns and org strategy, and is the senior technical voice with client architecture.
Key responsibilities
- Define target architecture and FSC data model (party, application, quote, financial account), favouring out-of-the-box objects.
- Lead org strategy decisions (new FSC org vs extending existing org), security/sharing model and environment strategy.
- Design integration patterns with core lending, decisioning, KYC/ID&V, screening and eSign services; set API and error-handling standards.
- Chair design authority; review and approve HLD/LLD, technical debt and non-functional design (performance, resilience, auditability).
- Support estimation, solution assumptions and clarification responses; guide the offshore tech lead.
- Ensure alignment to FCA, Consumer Duty, GDPR and client security/architecture guardrails.
Essential skills
- Deep FSC expertise (Person Accounts, Action Plans, Financial Accounts, lending/onboarding objects)
- OmniStudio (OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors) and Flow
- Integration architecture: REST/SOAP, Platform Events, CDC, MuleSoft or equivalent middleware
- Large data volumes, sharing & visibility, identity, DevOps/CI-CD
Desirable / certifications
Salesforce Application/System Architect or CTA track; FSC Accredited Professional; UK banking/lending experience.
