The school is looking for someone who can maintain an engaging, well-organised library environment and help ensure pupils and staff have access to appropriate resources. About the Role You will oversee the day-to-day running of the school library and support its use as a valuable learning resource. Key responsibilities include: Managing book loans, returns and the library catalogue. Organising books and learning resources for easy access. Supporting pupils with finding suitable reading materials. Assisting staff with locating resources for classroom activities. Maintaining displays and promoting reading initiatives. Monitoring stock and coordinating the purchase of new resources. The Ideal Candidate Previous library, information services or resource management experience. School library experience is highly desirable. Strong organisational and communication skills. Confidence using library management systems and databases. An approachable manner and an interest in supporting young people's reading. An enhanced DBS check will be required in line with the role.
