Warehouse Logistics Operative

• Contract Type: Permanent / 40 hours per week
• Salary: 30995 - increasing to 32495 on completion of relevant MHE training
• Hours of Work: Mon - Fri 16:30 - 01:00 - Sat & Sun - 15:00 - 23:30
• Days of Work: 5 days per week

DPD Logistics are a fulfilment warehouse; we hold stock for a number of key customers at our site in Tamworth and as a Warehouse Logistics Operative you will be required to pick and pack to meet consumer demand.

This is a fast-paced physical role and you will be on your feet all shift but as a warehouse operative you will be the backbone of our logistics operation playing an important role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service. Key duties include;

• Loading and unloading scanning picking and packing parcels including handling items up to 25kg

• Using our tech and WMS to ensure every parcel gets to the right place checking paperwork matches physical delivery

• Transfer of goods to suitable storage carrying out replenishment tasks and highlighting any discrepancies

• Operation of different Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including Counter Balance Flexi Trucks and Man Riders

• Comply with Health Safety and Security policies communicating with customers suppliers and third party hauliers
