We’re looking for an Insight Analyst to join RNIB and help us understand our customers and supporters better. You’ll use data and analysis to identify trends, provide valuable insight and support evidence-based decision making across our services, customer experience and income generation activities.
What you’ll be doing:

- Exploring areas such as supporter value, lifetime value, customer and supporter journeys and retention.
- Presenting complex analysis in a clear and accessible way for different audiences.
- Using tools including SQL and Excel, alongside analytical and reporting tools such as R, Python, SPSS/SAS, FastStats or Crystal Reports.
- Working with colleagues across RNIB to improve the quality, value and effective use of our data.
- Working with external suppliers on data imports, exports, analysis and reporting requirements.
What we’re looking for:
You’ll have experience of using databases to analyse data and produce reports, insight and management information, ideally within a fundraising, sales, customer insight or marketing environment.
You’ll also bring:
- Experience of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases.
- Strong Excel skills and experience of reporting and analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to turn data into meaningful insight.
- Confidence communicating findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Good understanding of data protection and the importance of data accuracy.
If you’re curious about what the data is telling you and enjoy helping others use insight to make better decisions, we’d love to hear from you.
