Job description

One to one support Temporary Level 2 Teaching Assistant 27.5 hours per week
plus 2.5hr Lunchtime Supervisor
(39 weeks per year/term time)

Salary Range: Teaching Assistant Grade 3, SCP 4-5 £16,706 to £17,512 (This salary will be subject to a term time only adjustment for the commencement of employment outside of the start date of 1st September).
Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant Grade 2, SCP 3 £1731 per annum
The Governing Body, staff and pupils of Abbey Primary School wish to appoint an excellent and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant and Lunchtime Supervisor.
This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to work with pupils throughout the 3-11 age range but specifically providing one to one care for a pupil with global developmental delay and significant learning disability.
The Governors will be seeking the following skills/personal qualities:
- Enthusiasm and self motivation
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
- Good people skills with adults and children.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
