Junior Account Manager - Fire & Security
Junior Account Manager / Business Development Manager Fire, Security & Compliance | London and Kent area Salary £35k - £40k DOE, commission, company car Are you an experienced Account Manager or Business Development Manager looking to bring your sales skills into the Fire, Security & Compliance sector? We're looking for someone who enjoys building lasting client relationships, growing existing accounts and winning new business. You'll manage and develop a portfolio of established contracts while pursuing new opportunities across London and down to Maidstone, including hospitals, educational facilities and government buildings. Previous fire and security experience isn't essential.
We're interested in your track record of account growth, cross-selling and new business development, alongside your ambition to build a long-term career in the sector. The role Manage and grow established accounts, becoming a trusted point of contact for clients. Identify cross-selling opportunities and introduce additional services across your portfolio. Prospect for, develop and win new business across your territory. Build relationships with clients, specifiers and contractors. Prepare accurate quotations and pricing, following opportunities through to order. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and report progress to the Sales Manager. Travel across London and down to Maidstone for client meetings and site visits. About you You have account management and business development experience, with clear examples of retaining clients, growing accounts, cross-selling and winning new business. Your career shows sustained commitment, with time spent developing relationships and delivering results in previous roles. You're looking for a long-term move where you can build sector knowledge and take ownership of your accounts. You're proactive, commercially aware and organised, with the confidence to manage multiple opportunities. You communicate well and work effectively both independently and within a sales team. You hold a full UK driving licence and are comfortable travelling throughout the territory. Experience in a related technical, construction, facilities management or service-led sector would be useful, but we also welcome candidates from other industries who can demonstrate strong, transferable sales results.
