About the role

Lift Schools is looking for an IT technician to support our growing network of schools in the South West. Based primarily at Lift Marling in Stroud (Gloucestershire), you will support five current hub schools: Lift Marling, Lift Cam Woodfield Junior, Lift Berkeley, Lift Callowell, and Lift Hillview.

This is an exciting time to join us. The region is growing rapidly, and you will play a key role in supporting the onboarding of four new schools from January onwards.

This is a chance to ensure every school has the technology they need to help children learn, thrive and achieve. Working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, you will collaborate closely with IT colleagues and third-party partners. As a true team player, you'll help keep systems running smoothly, resolve issues quickly, and build trusted relationships with teachers and staff across your hub.

Key responsibilities

  • resolve technical faults with Windows, Apple and Chrome devices, ensuring service levels are met;
  • support key systems including printing, telephony, door access, classroom management and CCTV;
  • maintain and install audio-visual systems across school sites;
  • monitor and support systems such as broadband connectivity, single sign-on, backups and firewalls;
