Role Overview
As a School Caretaker you will help ensure that the schools buildings and grounds are maintained to a good standard. You will carry out routine checks assist with repairs and maintenance and help keep the premises safe tidy and ready for daily use.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs around the school.
Inspect buildings facilities and outdoor areas for maintenance concerns.
Assist with opening and securing the premises as required.
Ensure corridors entrances and communal areas remain safe and tidy.
Report significant defects hazards and repair requirements.
Support the setup and movement of furniture and equipment.
Assist with deliveries and the safe storage of supplies.
Monitor site security and report any concerns.
Follow health and safety procedures and school policies.
Support contractors and external maintenance teams when required.
