Due to exceptional growth T&K Associates are currently recruiting on behalf of our Client in Swadlincote for a Loading Shovel Driver to join their team on a Temporary to Permanent Basis. Loading Shovel Driver Job Details & Benefits; * 3 week rotating shift pattern of days, afternoons and nights ; * Day shift – Monday to Friday 6am – 3pm * Afternoon shift – Monday to Friday 1pm – 10:30pm * Night shift – Monday to Friday 10pm – 6am * £15 per hour on the day and afternoon shift and £18.75 per hour on the night shift * Opportunities to develop practical skills and gain further qualifications * 30 days holiday including bank holidays when permanent increasing to 33 days with length of service * Life assurance when permanent * Company pension scheme * Team Building Exercises and perks * Free Parking Loading Shovel Driver Job Details; * Load scrap into kettles using the loading shovel * Monitor temperatures and follow operating procedures to maintain the required process conditions * Take samples to check that the product meets the required specification * Transfer products using cranes and pumps, where trained and authorised * Monitor the process and report contamination, unusual conditions or potential problems Loading Shovel Driver Person Specification; * A valid JCB Loading Shovel and B2 license is required * A strong commitment to health and safety and the ability to follow procedures consistently * Able to wear the required half-face respirator and maintain a clean-shaven sealing area * A careful, methodical approach, with good attention to detail * Able to recognise and report safety, process and quality concerns * Comfortable with practical production work, manual handling and a hot industrial environment * Reliable, flexible and able to work both independently and as part of a team * Willing to learn and work the required alternating day, afternoon and night shifts, Monday to Friday If you are interested in a new opportunity and would like to be considered for this Loading shovel role, then please get in touch with T&K Associates today.
