Pay Rate: £14.80 per hour
Hours: 48 Hours Per Week
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 20:00 - 08:00, Monday to Sunday
Requirements: Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence and Enhanced DBS Check

We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join our team at Hestia Gina House. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and reliable individual who is committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and supportive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Working as part of the on-site security team, you will play a key role in ensuring the security of the premises while providing assistance and support to residents when required. This position requires a vigilant and customer-focused individual who can maintain high standards of security and professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and security of the premises throughout your shift
• Preventing unauthorised access to the site and controlling entry and exit points
• Providing assistance and support to residents in a professional and respectful manner
• Completing site log books, incident reports, and daily security records accurately
• Conducting regular patrols of the building and surrounding areas
• Monitoring and responding to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies
• Maintaining a visible security presence to deter anti-social behaviour and criminal activity
• Reporting security concerns and incidents to management as required
• Following all site procedures, policies, and health and safety regulations

What We're Looking For

• A valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential
• Enhanced DBS check is required
• Previous security experience within housing, supported living, or similar environments is desirable
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong report writing and incident management abilities
• Professional, reliable, and able to work independently
• Calm and confident approach when dealing with challenging situations
