Sous Chef Opportunity - Blyth | £32,000 | Monday to Friday

Hi,

\n

I'm currently recruiting for a fantastic permanent Sous Chef position in Blyth, working within a busy contract catering unit serving around 200 fresh meals per day.

\n

· £32,000 salary

\n

· 40 hours per week

\n

· Monday to Friday only

\n

· 6:30am - 2:30pm shifts

\n

· 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays

\n

The Role

\n

As Sous Chef, you'll support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping to deliver high-quality fresh food to around 200 customers daily. You'll be involved in:

\n

* Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious meals

\n

* Supporting menu planning and food presentation

\n

* Supervising and motivating kitchen staff

\n

* Maintaining high food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards

\n

* Managing stock control, ordering, and reducing food waste

\n

* Assisting with kitchen administration and compliance requirements

\n

* Ensuring a smooth and efficient service every day

\n

What We're Looking For

\n

✔ Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready for the next step

\n

✔ Passion for fresh food and quality service

\n

✔ Strong organisational and team leadership skills

\n

✔ Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards

\n
