Job description

Job summary
It is an exciting time to join the Crisis Resolution Team as we embark on a new and innovative way of delivering crisis care in Worcestershire.

We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join us. We are a dynamic and responsive team who strive to continuously develop and adapt to the needs of individuals, their families and carers in Worcestershire providing compassionate and trauma-informed care when they are at their most vulnerable.

The Crisis Support Workers deliver a variety of care and support including bespoke crisis interventions, telephone advice and signposting and face-to-face acute care.

The shift pattern consists of days and waking nights over a 7-day period including bank holidays, working 13 shifts over a 4-week period. The team is based in Worcester, but travel across the county may be required and the post-holder is responsible for ensuring adequate insurance for this purpose.

If this role interests you, we welcome your application. Or get in touch, and we would be happy to have an informal chat or visit to the unit to have a look around and meet the team.

This is full time post, but we would consider applicants looking for part time.

Applicants must read the attached guidance notes before submitting your application for full understanding of Trust requirements.

  • You will provide support to individuals who are detained under section 136 and being cared for in our designated place of safety.
