Procurement Manager

Procurement Manager Altera Recruitment Group is supporting a global renewable energy and resource recovery business in the appointment of a permanent Procurement Manager to lead procurement, logistics and contract administration on a major EPC project in the Bristol Area, with travel to suppliers and project sites across the UK. The business designs, builds and supports anaerobic digestion and waste to resource facilities worldwide. The Procurement Manager works closely with the Project Manager, the Engineering Manager and the engineering team, and with the Site Manager and the Project Controller, so that equipment, materials and services arrive to budget, programme and quality. The role would suit a Procurement Manager or senior buyer from EPC, construction, infrastructure, energy, utilities or industrial projects who is comfortable owning complex packages, suppliers and subcontracts from start to finish. Key Responsibilities of the Procurement Manager * Leading procurement for the project from requisition and sourcing through order placement, delivery, inspection and close out. * Building procurement plans, package strategies and purchasing schedules aligned to the programme and budget. * Issuing requests for quotation and tenders, and evaluating quotations with the engineering, commercial and project teams. * Leading commercial negotiations and placing purchase orders and subcontracts, including under NEC4 or JCT. ...
