Electrical Maintenance Engineer

MTrec’s new career opportunity Our client are specialists in their industry sector, they are looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis. The shift pattern is day shift continentals, 6am-6pm, working 4 on 4 off. The Job you’ll do * As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will be part of a hands-on in-house team who keep the plant running by ensuring the equipment runs smoothly. * From troubleshooting to planned preventive maintenance (PPM), you will be hands-on with specialist machinery, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. * It's a dynamic role where problem-solving skills and technical expertise are used daily, and you will be a key player contributing to the efficiency and reliability of our production processes. * Engineers have a varied role, so you’ll get the chance to use a variety of electrical skills associated with being an electrician and service engineer. * Install and maintaining all electrical & electro-mechanical plant equipment or machinery. * Operating a preventative electrical maintenance system. * Faulting finding and repairs. * Program Siemens & other programmable logic controllers (PLC’s). * Use various types of testing equipment to locate and remedy faults. * Promote Lean thinking. * Attend breakdowns. * Contribute to safe systems of work (SSOW) documentation.
