Job Description

Pay Rate: £13.76 per hour, increasing to £14.32 per hour upon successful completion of training.

Are you an experienced machine operator looking for a long-term opportunity with excellent benefits and career progression? We are currently recruiting for a Press Setter / Operator to join a busy and growing manufacturing team.

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Setting and operating press machinery safely and efficiently.
\n
• Loading and unloading materials.
\n
• Monitoring machine performance and carrying out quality checks.
\n
• Following production schedules and health & safety procedures.
\n
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
\n
• Assisting with general production duties as required.
\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• Previous machine operating experience is essential.
\n
• Experience within a manufacturing or production environment is desirable.
\n
• Physically fit and capable of: \n
  \n
  • Heavy lifting.
  \n
  • Standing for prolonged periods.
  \n
  • Working in a fast-paced production environment.
  \n
\n
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.
\n
• Flexible to work rotating shifts.
\n

Shift Pattern:

Rotating weekly shifts:

\n

• 6:00am - 2:00pm
\n
• 2:00pm - 10:00pm
\n

\n

Early finishes every Friday:

\n

\n
• Morning shift: 6:00am - 11:00am
\n
• Afternoon shift: 11:00am - 4:00pm
\n
