A well-established school in High Wycombe is seeking a dependable Transport and Minibus Coordinator to help manage its daily transport arrangements. The role combines practical organisation with a strong focus on pupil safety, vehicle checks and reliable communication with staff and families.
About the Role
Coordinate school transport schedules and daily minibus requirements.
Arrange transport for trips, activities and other school events.
Maintain vehicle checklists, service records and relevant documentation.
Monitor vehicle maintenance requirements and report faults promptly.
Liaise with drivers, school staff and external transport providers.
Ensure transport arrangements follow school procedures and safety requirements.
Assist with bookings, schedules and administrative records.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous transport coordination, logistics or fleet administration experience is essential.
Experience working in a school or education setting is highly desirable.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Confident using spreadsheets, email and scheduling systems.
A sound understanding of vehicle safety and record keeping.
A full UK driving licence and minibus driving experience would be advantageous, depending on the duties required.
An enhanced DBS check will be required in line with the role.
