Role Overview

As the School IT Technician you will assist with the day-to-day running of the schools IT systems. You will respond to technical support requests maintain equipment and help ensure that technology supports teaching learning and administrative activities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to staff and students.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware software and connectivity issues.

• Install configure and maintain computers laptops and printers.

• Assist with network connectivity and user account issues.

• Support classroom technology including projectors and interactive displays.

• Carry out routine equipment checks and software updates.

• Maintain records of support requests faults and repairs.

• Assist with IT equipment inventories and asset management.

• Follow data protection cybersecurity and safeguarding procedures.

• Escalate complex technical problems when necessary.
