We are seeking an experienced Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to join a busy repairs and maintenance team delivering high-quality servicing, repairs, and breakdown support across occupied and void social housing properties. This is a permanent role offering a company van, fuel card, and a structured out-of-hours emergency call-out rota. Duties & Responsibilities Carry out annual gas safety inspections and landlord gas safety certificates (CP12s) Service, maintain, and repair domestic gas boilers and heating systems Diagnose and repair boiler and central heating breakdowns Fault-find across a variety of domestic gas appliances and heating systems Carry out repairs and replacements of heating controls, valves, pumps, radiators, and associated components Respond to emergency heating and hot water breakdowns Complete gas tightness testing and gas safety checks Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Gas Safe regulations and current legislation Provide excellent customer service while working in tenants' homes Accurately complete all certification, job sheets, and compliance documentation Participate in the compulsory out-of-hours emergency call-out rota Maintain van stock and ensure materials are used efficie...
