Senior Accounts Payable Officer ** OFFICE BASED ROLE**

Our client is a leading global managed services company, and they’re growing at a rate of knots. Their finance team is busy, deadline driven and full of people who know their stuff, and they’re looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to look after the non UK side of the business. You will be based in the Hertford office, this is not a remote role.

What you’ll be getting stuck into:

Running the full AP process across several international Group entities, from invoices and approvals through to payments

Multi currency payments (lots of them)

Supplier reconciliations and sorting out any discrepancies

Supporting month end and audits

Liaising with senior stakeholders across procurement, finance and operations

Spotting ways to do things better, and actually being listened to

Helping guide and train the more junior members of the team

Requirements

What you’ll need:

Around 4 years’ accounts payable experience

Solid multi currency experience

Experience working as part of a team

Strong communication skills and the confidence to talk to senior people

A cool head when the deadlines stack up

Navision or similar ERP experience, plus good Excel skills, would be a bonus but not essential
