Build meaningful client relationships and a rewarding career in financial planning
\n
Are you a Level 4 qualified Financial Planner looking for a business where clients come first and you can genuinely develop your career?
\n
We're recruiting for an established, employee-owned financial planning business with a collaborative team and a strong focus on long-term client relationships. Whether you're relatively early in your financial planning career or already an experienced adviser, this could be a fantastic next step.
\n
You'll benefit from a regular supply of client leads, rather than having to build your client base entirely from scratch. Initially, you'll also look after a smaller existing client portfolio while a colleague is on maternity leave, giving you the opportunity to get to know the business, its clients and its approach.
\n
What you'll be doing
\n
- \n
- Building trusted, lasting relationships with clients and understanding their financial goals \n
- Providing personalised financial planning advice across pensions, investments, protection and retirement \n
- Reviewing clients' circumstances and financial plans, making suitable recommendations \n
- Managing and developing client relationships, with leads provided by the business \n
- Contributing to networking and referral opportunities as you establish yourself \n
- Working closely with colleagues and keeping your professional knowledge up to date \n
\n
What we're looking for
\n
- \n
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) - essential \n
- Experience in financial planning or advice; applications are welcome from both developing and established planners \n
- A sound understanding of pensions, investments and financial protection \n
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with people \n
- A thoughtful, professional and client-focused approach, with an appetite to learn and grow \n
\n
What's on offer
\n
- \n
- £40,000-£50,000 for someone earlier in their career, or £60,000-£70,000 for an experienced planner \n
- Hybrid working, with two days per week in the office, and a 35-hour working week \n
- 32 days' holiday, plus bank holidays and Christmas week \n
- 5% employer pension contribution, with salary sacrifice available \n
- Aviva private medical insurance, death-in-service cover and income protection (subject to scheme terms) \n
- £2,000 annual individual training budget, including up to £250 for personal training \n
- One volunteering day per year \n
- The opportunity to develop within an established, employee-owned business \n
\n
